eStarland

March 2021 - Present

Wahoo! It’s a me…dia management.

Currently running the entire show when it comes to eStarland’s social media. I’ve grown our following expontentially and reached over a quarter billion people—over half of that from short-form videos I scripted, edited, or conceptualized myself. I also create graphics, write copy, and of course – make memes.

My fire alarm is my biggest fan…

Started a chaotic little food brand focused on playful, plant-forward meals. Designed the logo, built the brand, made the food, and landed a Chicago Tribune feature. Everything smelled like ginger for six months. Would do it again.

Troubleshooting During a Global Meltdown

Provided remote tech support during that part of 2020 where nobody remembered how anything worked. Helped people fix storage devices, updated internal docs, and answered tickets with a surprising amount of patience. Got very good at troubleshooting hardware—and people.

She Sells Sushi by The Lakeshore

Ran social media and made sushi rolls at the same time. Promoted specials, made signage and menus, created a website, and helped reshape the restaurant’s brand — all while also taking reservations and plating sashimi.

Small space with a big heart.

Manage social media for a cozy, artist-run venue that programs films. I create reels, design graphics, and promote events in a way that feels true to the space—handmade and accessible. It’s grassroots, it’s all heart, and it’s one of the best corners of Chicago’s creative community.

Apple EDU

February 2015 - May 2018

Someone named Steve gave me this job. (Yes, really.)

Ran Columbia College’s on-campus Apple store. Repaired devices, handled customer service, made marketing materials, and co-led a full rebrand. Worked directly with Apple HQ on retail initiatives while studying film and forgetting to charge my own laptop.
